Broken heart, heavy eyelids

Unbothered silence, shivering lips

Cold sweats running down her neck

Beaded like diamonds and running down an emotional wreck

Like the sailor who sunk his own boat

She sunk the man who left her his heart as a note

Letting fear overcome and destroy

She's just another one of loves toys

She pushed him away till the distance could go no more

Thats when she broke down and lost all her galore

The promise she had made herself fell apart like the mirror of doubt

Never let love engulf you; dont let it mount

But here she lies, vacant of any love and cold

Her heart gone in his embrace, in his gentle hold

Her mind still running thoughts like moving pictures

Constantly playing with her, making her unfixable

How was she supposed to move on with this going on?

How could she talk to him, touch him, so calm?

And he sees through her like magic glass, no flaws

Throwing her down to his feet, first time she's crawled

He wants to be hers when she has nothing to offer

And all she can do is look into the reflection as life mocks her

Now she lies on the bed, running her fingers through the suffocating absence

Reminding herself that this was once his scent, his presence

And in words all she can be described is as

Get as close as you desire, inhale me

At the end break me down, fail me

Fake a love story with me and whisper a sweet I love you

Hold me so dear that I lose all clue

Comfort me with sweet lies you know I love to hear

Put on a show and chase away my fears

Step over me as we go out to show off

This relation, pretending itll never stop
